Kugana Charity Organization was founded by Mrs. Neumbe Rosemary. Her vision remains central to its purpose; KCO honours her as its founder and a permanent, lifelong member.

Who we are

Headquartered in Mbale City, KCO is a registered charity with scope to establish branches elsewhere in Uganda. Its name comes from the Lumasaba word for love, reflecting a commitment to compassionate service.

Integrity and membership

KCO’s published commitments include lawful, transparent and efficient operations, proper records, and recognised ways of authenticating organisational documents, including electronic signatures where appropriate. Membership is voluntary and open to individuals and institutions that accept its constitution and values. The existing site describes a minimum membership of three.
